Daily schedule

Our daily schedule offers time for children to participate in both group activities and independent child choice activities. 

Welcome Time:


 

Transition time from home to school…A warm welcome to all the children by the puppets or the objects related to the topic of the day

Free Play:


 

Freedom of choice to select from wide variety of activities where the kids can participate in creative, moulding, manipulative, readiness and concept related activities

Clean up time


 

Tidying up inculcates the habit of taking good care of the toys and placing them in order

Prayer & Attendance:

An interactive attendance which might also include the topic of previous day as a recapitulation of the topic learnt

Numeracy Time:


Children build a meaningful relationship with numbers and other mathematical concepts through their understandings based on individual and group activities, doing worksheets and various hands on activities.

Circle Time/ News/ G.K Time:


Activities involving the entire class where children learn participating, sharing their thoughts and ideas, accepting and acknowledging each other’s viewpoints etc.

Songs and Exercises:

Topic related songs are inculcated in a fun way developing the invaluable skills of listening and coordination, expression and rhythm.

Literacy Time:


 

Introducing them to new vocabulary where they read and write related to the concepts being discussed

Reading Time:

 

 

 

Cognitive and reading skills are enhanced, especially gearing towards promoting language and reading capabilities

Snack Time:


 

Encouraging them to learn good table manners and eating habits, children learn to share their physical space as well as food in the process.

Writing Time:


 

Learning to develop hand-eye coordination, writing in Kindergarten even enhances visual perception skills

Concept Time:

Project works are encouraged where the children engage themselves independently using the concepts learnt in the class.

Circle/Story time:


 

Variety of different ways including flash cards, dramatization, puppets etc. educators provide the kids opportunity to inculcate knowledge related to the topic

Outdoor Play:


Refining coordination and gross motor developments outdoor play not only enhances the balance, strength, posture etc. but also assists in sensory stimulation and problem-solving skills through experimenting with sand and water play.

Transition to home:

                                                        Final dispersal of children back to their parents
